Magnetic Separators – GRM

GRM Grate magnetic separator series have been successfully resulted for installation in closed chutes and ducts. GRM magnetic separators are used to separate fine and weakly ferromagnetic particles from granular and free flowing materials and designed for high flow applications. For reaching at a better contact between magnetic bars and materials, GRM separator could be designed with arrangement of two or more trays. Drawer housing could be fabricated by a mild steel plate or stainless steel.
For cleaning of the tray, there are three available ways. In manual way, trays slide from side door for easy manual cleaning. In semi self-cleaning, the drawer operates collection sleeves, which slides out and takes the extracted Iron particles away stationary magnetic bars. As the sleeves clear the magnets, extracted Iron falls off. In automatic self-cleaning method, the pneumatic actuators remove trays through cleaner device and ferrous contaminants release into discharge area. GRM separators are widely used in the food, dairy, grain, chemical, pharmaceutical, plastics and recycling industries
