TPS Trap Magnetic Separator can be installed in pipelines, handling pulp, slurries, inks and liquid lines without appreciably dropping of pressure or reducing flow rate. TPS separator consists of a group powerful magnetic bars, which creates an efficient magnetic field to provide an optimum removal of fine ferrous contaminates and magnetic protection. TPS separators are designed for a heavy duty and a large volume liquid system as well.

While the Belt Drum magnet is charged by feeding material, the non-magnetic contaminations will be thrown in natural trajectory in the front of the magnet, whereas the Iron Ore is absorbed to the magnet and carried to the last point of the magnetic arc and will be discharged behind of the belt drum splitter.

Belt Drum Magnets can be manufactured in two types by Ceramic Magnet (LIMS) or Neodymium Magnet (MIMS), which are able to definitely generate variant magnetic forces accompanied by difference amplitudes and gradients.

Significant factors on separation efficiency are drum speed, splitter location, types & configuration of the Magnet elements.
